We no longer offer lobe piercing services on children under 8 years old. If you are under 8 years old and have previously been pierced with us, we WILL perform your downsize. You can book for a Children’s Lobe Downsize (Ages 8-13) and include the minor's age in the notes of your appointment.

WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIREMENT FOR CHILDREN’S LOBE PIERCINGS?

We have a minimum age requirement of 8 years old. If you are over 14 years old, you can book an appointment for regular lobe piercings. Minors under 13 years old and over 14 years old have different ID requirements. Please visit our ID & Age Requirements page for more info.

WHAT IS THE cost?

Each lobe piercing is $30 and the cost of jewelry will start at $35 for a stud option with a plain ball or disk. Stud options with gems will start at $50 per piece. You can expect a starting price of $130 for the set of earlobes including the piercings and jewelry.

WHAT are the ID requirements for the appointment? (children ages 8-13)

The parent/guardian is required to have a valid state issued photo ID for themselves. The minor getting pierced is required to have a valid state issued photo ID or their original birth certificate. Photo copies will not be accepted.

• Parent/guardian last name must be the same on Photo ID and birth certificate.

• If a legal guardian is present, guardianship paperwork issued by the state is required.

• A parent or legal guardian must be present through the entire procedure.

Acceptable forms of ID include:

• Driver’s license

• State issued identification card

• Passport

• Military ID

Under state law, this is non-negotiable.

Please be aware if these documents are not present at the beginning of the appointment your appointment will be cancelled and deposit will be forfeit.

Proper identification must be brought to every appointment, every time.

What type of jewelry do you use?

We generally use a stud style earring with a flat disc on the back. We use only the best materials from the most reputable jewelry companies in the USA. When you come in for your appointment, you can choose from various options in implant grade titanium as well as 14k white, yellow and rose gold.

What else do i need to know?

Your child will decide if they are ready to get pierced. We will not force or coerce anyone to get pierced if they are not ready. We use sterile single-use needles as it is the most gentle and safe way to perform the piercings. Liz is the only piercer at Fox & Fern that will provide lobe piercings on minors under 14 years old. She is available for these appointments on Saturday only.
